This small selection of my Original Baby Poetry section is in response to several requests for poems suitable to use at Baby Naming Ceremonies. I hope you enjoy reading my poetry and if any of these touch that special place in your heart and are suitable for use at your baby's Naming Ceremony then please use them. All I ask is that you acknowledge the poem/s as my original work. You may use the poetry even if you have chosen another Civil Celebrant for your Naming Ceremony. You're perfect and so beautiful it's such a wonderful surprise
That you're our/my little baby, a son/daughter of our/my own
Today you're a tiny person, all too soon you will be grown
So now we'll/I'll hold and love you 'til it is our time to part
But we'll/I'll always be your parents/mother/father, you'll be always in our/my heart
You give me so much happiness I feel I'm ten foot tall
It doesn't seem that long ago you were waiting to be born
And I will always love you and this you'll always know
